As of last Saturday I am taking figure classes at the cultural arts center. This is technically last weeks work, the picture I did this morning is still at the art center in my cubbie 'resting' after being sprayed with fixative.
This piece is pastel on pastel paper. This is a very new medium for me but I like the definitiveness of the strokes and the bright colors. I'll probably do most of my work in pastels throughout the 8 weeks, switching it up here or there, plus I can usually manage to get 2 pictures done a session. Sadly the other picture I did that day was too dark and did not photograph well.
