Young Moss

With the Massive amount of commissions I've been doing with the sketch challenge, plus getting ready for Ohayocon I decided to take a break (procrastinate) and do a little 'me' art.
I drew a younger Moss, mis highschool range (maybe 15-17 years old.) Similar hairstyle but with shorter bangs, and OMG you can see both eyes! This is some point before she manages to loose vision in her right eye and grow her hair to cover it.

Convention Signage

Will be attending Ohayocon next week and I figured an updated con sign would be appropriate.
What started as a simple need to display commission prices turned into a pretty epic project.

Here is the start of the image side by side with the reference image. Alphonse Mucha of course :3

Closeup of the ink and base background toning. I didn't think to start documenting till this point.

With the leaves and vines <3

Background done and starting to color Moss in. Only regret was outlining the leaves in such a heavy line.

And pretty much done. The white will be trimmed/carved out so that I can swap the pricing and info depending on the con I am at. (I offer different things at the different types of conventions.)

Out of the blue I got reminiscent and wanted to draw two of my oldest characters. Zoe came into conception around 1995-96 when Gargoyles was still on the air. Luna followed in 1998, early college, when I was coming to terms with the fact I might not be completely strait.
As many characters go they have both gone through a lot of changes. Zoe started as a bizarre hybrid of species finally landing the role of Kulkulkan. She still have her donkey ears (one of the traits the never got bread out in her many updates and redesigns). Luna began her life as a beak-less gryphon but ended up as a sphinx which suits her design much more closely.

I do plan on finishing this and posting it on FA in full color.
The faces for the kiss are very heavily referenced from a manga image I found through a japanese imageboard, so I can't take full credit for it.

Sketch Challange!

Doing the 100 Sketch Challenge over on my FA account, though not all my commissioners are from FA. I'm putting the not furry submissions here (and possibly on dA if tasteful enough).
So here are the first 2 non-furry sketches of the challenge, which happen to be numbers 14 and 15.

Practice/Examples

Had a call for character on mt FA journal right before Christmas. Here are the 3 finalist drawn up in a simple monotone style. These three will now be the examples for the 100 sketch commission challenge!
I haven't opened the floodgates quite yet, but I will be soon. I'm hoping to shake this cold first so that I have an easier time concentrating.
